At AMM 2025, Chapter Zero Kazakhstan took part in one of the congress’s most timely and forward-looking discussions — the panel on “The Role of Geopolitical Shifts on ESG Trends.”
Speaking on behalf of our platform, CEO Aray Serikzhanova offered a clear message that resonated across the room:
“It’s not about what we extract — it’s about how we lead. ESG is no longer just a corporate responsibility. It is a tool of geoeconomic positioning — a new language of trust, resilience, and market access.”

As global competition for critical raw materials intensifies, Kazakhstan finds itself in a strategically important position. Our country holds rich reserves of lithium, copper, and rare earths — but without strong ESG governance, integration into trusted supply chains, and credible leadership from the top, we risk being seen as a source of raw materials rather than a true partner in the global green transition.
To compete in new markets shaped by CBAM, CSRD, and ESG litigation, Kazakhstan has a window of opportunity to act decisively. Transparent, low-carbon supply chains are no longer optional — they are gateways to market access, investment, and long-term relevance.
At Chapter Zero Kazakhstan, we work with boards and business leaders to ensure this transformation starts where it matters most — in the boardroom. As part of the World Economic Forum’s Climate Governance Initiative, we bring tools, expertise, and confidence to the people making the decisions that will define Kazakhstan’s future role in global markets.

We extend our warm thanks to all fellow speakers and attendees of the session, and to the organizers and partners of AMM 2025 for facilitating this vital dialogue.
This two-day congress brought together 41 companies from 12 countries, providing not only an exhibition space but a platform for bold ideas, practical strategies, and cross-sector collaboration.

We look forward to continuing the conversation with policymakers, industry leaders, and global partners!
