Provide strategic advice and recommendations on the direction and key areas of Chapter Zero Kazakhstan's activities

Ensure that Chapter Zero Kazakhstan is in line with global and local climate goals and strategies

Offer expertise in specific areas such as climate science, governance, finance or law

Advocate for Chapter Zero in external contacts and partnerships

Provide financial support for Chapter activities up to a certain minimum amount.  Additional assistance will be provided on a voluntary basis

The Patron Chairs are appointed by the Steering Committee in the number of 3 to 10 persons, serve on a voluntary basis for a period of three years and may be elected for the following term of office

Board meetings are held twice a year - online, offline or in a mixed format
