Chapter Zero Kazakhstan had the honour of meeting with the Delegation of the European Union to Kazakhstan — a timely exchange that affirmed our shared ambition to build a more climate-resilient, transparent, and future-ready business environment.
🔹 The meeting opened with a clear vision introduced by our Founder, Karlygash Imanbayeva, emphasizing the strategic role of boards and decision-makers in advancing corporate climate transformation. She was joined by Co-Chair Gulzada Shakulikova and Board Member Lilia Jolibois, reinforcing our commitment to high-level leadership across sectors.

🔹 The EU Delegation acknowledged Chapter Zero Kazakhstan as a trusted platform to help bridge policy and business — supporting companies in translating complex regulations like CBAM and ESG standards into strategic, board-level action.
We exchanged insights on the EU’s priority areas in Kazakhstan and Central Asia:
▫️ CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)
▫️ ESG compliance and corporate transparency
▫️ Clean industrial development
▫️ Responsible supply chains and critical raw materials
💬 We are especially grateful for the Delegation’s openness to explore future cooperation and engage Chapter Zero Kazakhstan in relevant EU-aligned initiatives — further validating our role as a bridge between regulation, strategy, and business leadership.
🌐 We would also like to thank Commissioner Wopke Hoekstra and his team for encouraging this dialogue during our earlier exchange — a connection that helped spark this meaningful engagement.
🤝 We are ready to support these initiatives and help the business community navigate evolving EU climate priorities with clarity, confidence, and shared purpose.
🙏 Our sincere thanks to Mr. Johannes Baur, Mr. Robert Brudzynski, and the entire EU Delegation team for their openness, partnership spirit, and commitment to shared goals.
🔗 We look forward to building on this momentum — through dialogue, learning, and action.
